I only bought one pack of each and was concerned that I wouldn't have enough after seeing how many pots go into the pro designs on Youtube but I watched one video where someone said that you can use individual stems if you have enough patience. I was a bit unsure about changing that in an existing tank but it wasn't too hard. If I were to start again I would definitely tie them on before putting the wood into the tank but as I had already planted tight up to the wood I had to do what I could. On my new tank ammonia was low 0. If you do add them I would do so into a darkened tank, so they don't run the gauntlet of the fish straight away. I bought some bogwood which luckily just about sank straight away with one piece not quite lying flat but released lots of colour so I gave it a hot bath. Tying plants to the big piece of wood was easier but they are still not very secure.

They are difficult to count but I've got at least 7! I've augmented this with 2x 1600lph powerheads, operating alternately for one minute via a SmartWave kit, so the total rated turnover is 3450lph. But thank you to you all for your input and advise. We are planning on a freshwater tropical set up, probably fairly heavily planted with a wide variety of fish rather than specialising will be coming for advice on fish choice later. I'm really pleased with it at the moment, it's been a lot of hard work and there have been some bleak moments but the moral of the story is - if you're having problems, don't give up, keep persevering and you will get there eventually! Der Sicherheitsunterrahmen gewährleistet einen besonders sicheren Stand und erlaubt eine problemlose Aufstellung des Aquariums ohne spezielle Unterlagen. The sand path became too much of a pain to maintain as the Amazonia is so light is was constantly blowing onto the sand or being moved there by the shrimps , so I gave up and let the carpet of micranthemum monte carlo take over. Quick update as I haven't posted one for ages.

I only put two snails in and both are fine. Being a bit of a perfectionist I spent several months accumulating all the equipment I wanted and doing dry runs of the setup. I hadn't realised the moss wouldn't just stick! It took ages cutting it to the right size and gluing it in to my satisfaction but I got there in the end. I've had my 3ft, 110lts tank for best part of 20 years and I'm thinking of upgrading. Sunday July 17th was Day 1, I planted up the tank and filled it with water. Oh and one other question please if I may - when we come to fill the tank - what water do we use: a straight cold from the tap with conditioner etc and allow the thermostat heater to bring it up to temp - that'll take yonks I would have thought, b lots of trips with boiled water, or c can we use the water from our mixer tap which is heated via a combi boiler? If things noticeably deteriorate I have an Otto in my old tank which I will move over. There seems to be a fair bit of new growth on the moss too with new strands stretching up towards the light.

Juwel Vision 180 Aquarium Video How to decide which vision model is right for you? Hierbei wird das Silikon unter anderem automatisiert auf die Bodenscheibe aufgetragen. The Java Fern doesn't look too bad but is growing roots and new ferns from everywhere on the one by the filter! Samozřejmostí je případný odvoz obalových materiálů. I've cleared a section of Marsilea from behind the wood with the intention of adding more Crypts which should be more visible over the top. After three months the plants had deteriorated so much that I felt that I had no option but to strip the tank down and start again. On my established tank ammonia and nitrite were both zero as expected. I might try and create some partition to keep them in the right place so they don't block too much light from the plants below.

This also makes the Juwel Vision extremely easy to set up. If I added another carpeting plant like Hygrophila what would I do as I haven't got much space on the substrate left. The substrate is between 5 and 6cm deep which was the recommended depth on the packets of Tropica soil so just kept that going onto the sand, but I would have thought I could just siphon some up to reduce the depth? Space considerations ruled out a bigger Rio but the Vision 260 was just the right size and shape for the space I had in mind. They seem pretty solidly attached now though - cable ties are massively underrated in my view! I assume I can also stick the java fern down with it? The Marsilea seems to be growing the best with a few new shoots. Keep in mind that this also depends on the capacity of the filter and the number of decorative elements in the aquarium.

In fact, all that is left for you to do is simply to enjoy your beautiful style accessory every day! A mate of mine has had both an 04 and 05 series Fluval blow it's seal ring and wash his floor for him un-expectedly, just outside warrenty again. The base is a gorgeous stand with more than enough room for any and all things aquatic. Two hot baths later and almost two weeks soaking in the tank it was finally ready. The bigger of the two Echinodorus Reni had a few brown spots on the leaves that appeared in the first couple of days but seemed to stop and now there are lots of new leaves coming up from the middle. The stand isn't the original but it's actually the perfect height for my son to see in and store his wellies in.

Just click the links on this page for more information about this fantastic and impressive aquarium. I kept fish in my teens, starting with the classic two shubunkins in a bowl, and eventually moving on to a five-foot planted tank which gradually went to rack and ruin when I went off to university! I couldn't find a way of attaching my powerheads to the back of the tank because of the internal background so I had to cut off the little red knobs and use cable ties to attach them to the spraybar. I've already pruned the stem plants once and moved things around a bit and another prune will be needed soon.

Unsere Produktion ist auf die Herstellung der Komplettaquarien ausgerichtet. As with many things the vast array of choice is so confusing and frankly mind blowing. Work's filters are no better, going through replacement parts faster than they realy should do. Plant wise, I settled for the following mixture after many many hours of research. Choose from black, dark wood, beech and white. Progress After nearly four weeks all the plants except the Pogostemon Erectus and Micranthemum Micranthemoides seem to be doing well.
